We get into Stephen King's ambivalent reaction to the movie, the making of the movie, and the bold decisions of world class filmmaker Stanley Kubrick.  We also dive in to whether a filmmaker can really take anything from Kubrick or if Kubrick's style is so singular it's impossible to really borrow from it without coming across as pure imitation.
